When you choose an Elling E4 or E3 you choose extraordinary sailing dynamics. The rear end of the ship has trim plates that secure a better balance during sailing. The extracted keel ensures a straight course en also protects the 5 blade propeller when in shallow waters. Al these features add up to accurate steering and a well balanced sailing experience.


ELLING E3. NOISE AND FUEL USE LIMITATION...

Another special feature included on the Elling is the low fuel use, which makes a whole action radius available to you. With a normal speed of 7,5 knots the Elling uses about 1 litre a mile, or approx. 7 litres per hour. At an average speed of approx. 14 knots the fuel use can rise up to a very acceptable 3 litres a mile ( approx. 40 litres an hour.)
